4X World champion Kyle Dake is leaving Cornell.
In huge senior-level wrestling news, Kyle Dake will be joining the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club. Dake announced the move immediately after winning his fourth World title in Belgrade, Serbia.
The NLWC is the regional training center (RTC) associated with Penn State University in State College, PA.
Dake, now a four-time World champion and 2021 Olympic bronze medalist, has predominantly been training at Cornell in Ithaca, New York since he started his college career there in the fall of 2009. While at Cornell Dake won four national titles from 2011-2015. In June, Dake made his fifth-straight World or Olympic team.
